How can we help?

Questions and answers.

Is SolTag free?

Downloading SolTag and seeing prices in SOL costs nothing. When you pay with SOL, SolTag takes a 0.2% fee on the transaction.

What are the fees?

0.2% of each transaction you pay with SOL. On a 100 SOL purchase that is 0.2 SOL. The fee is shown before you pay. Solana network fees are separate.

Which browsers does it work on?

Chrome and browsers built on it: Brave, Edge and Arc. Safari and Firefox are not supported.

Which wallets can I connect?

Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. The wallet has to be installed in the same browser as SolTag.

Can SolTag move my funds?

No. Connecting shares your public address only. Anything that spends SOL has to be approved by you, in your wallet.

Where do the rates come from?

From CoinGecko, refreshed every two minutes. The SolTag popup shows the current rate and when it was last updated.

A price on a page was not converted. Why?

Some stores draw prices as images or in unusual layouts that SolTag cannot read yet. Prices without a currency symbol or code are left alone on purpose.

A number was converted that is not a price.

Turn SolTag off for that site from the toolbar popup. The page goes back to normal straight away.

How do I see the original price?

Hover the price, or choose SOL + original under Display in the popup to see both side by side.

How do I turn SolTag off?

Open SolTag from the toolbar. One switch turns it off for the site you are on, another for every site.

How do I update or remove it?

To update, download the latest version and load it again from chrome://extensions. To remove it, press Remove on the SolTag card on the same page.
