as little as possible.
SolTag needs two things to work: the prices on the page and your public address. That is all it takes.
Your keys stay in your wallet.
Connecting shares your public address and nothing else. SolTag cannot sign, send or move anything on its own.
Prices are converted on your device.
SolTag reads the page in your browser to find prices. The pages you visit are never sent to us.
Off when you want it off.
Turn SolTag off for one site or for all of them from the toolbar. Every price goes back to how the store wrote it.
What SolTag handles.
- Your public wallet address
- Stored in your browser after you connect. Sent to a Solana RPC node to read your SOL balance.
- Your settings
- On or off, display style and the sites you excluded. Stored in your browser and synced by Chrome.
- Exchange rates
- Fetched from CoinGecko every two minutes. The request carries no information about you or the page.
- The pages you visit
- Read locally to find prices. Never stored, never sent anywhere.
- Private keys and seed phrases
- Never requested, never seen.
Browser permissions.
Chrome will tell you SolTag can read the sites you visit. It has to, to find the prices. It also stores your settings and talks to two services: CoinGecko for rates and a Solana RPC node for your balance.
